Elder Bloom Wellness Society is committed to transparency, responsible governance, and thoughtful stewardship as we build toward launching a community-based day centre in Kamloops.

Elder Bloom Wellness Society is not yet operational and is currently in the development and fundraising phase.

Where We Are Today

Elder Bloom is currently in the development phase. Key areas of focus include:

  • Community engagement and needs assessment

  • Partnership development with local organizations

  • Program model design grounded in recreation therapy

  • Financial planning and fundraising

We are intentionally building a strong foundation prior to launching services.

Who We Are

Elder Bloom Wellness Society is a registered non-profit society in British Columbia. The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and operates in accordance with its constitution and bylaws.

Our work is guided by a commitment to community need, ethical decision-making, and responsible use of resources

Board members serve in a volunteer capacity and bring a range of professional and community experience to support responsible governance and strategic development.

We are working toward a phased and sustainable launch:

Phase 1: Community Engagement & Planning
Building partnerships and validating community need

Phase 2: Operational Readiness
Securing space, equipment, and program structure

Phase 3: Pilot Program Launch
Initial rollout serving a smaller group of participants

Phase 4: Program Growth
Expansion to full day centre capacity

Our Roadmap

Funds raised support the development and launch of Elder Bloom, including:

  • Program equipment and materials

  • Accessibility and participant supports

  • Transportation planning and implementation

  • Facility setup and operational readiness

  • Pilot program delivery

All funds are used in alignment with the society’s mission and charitable objectives.
